Show reviews

We have just completed our final show of the year at the NEC a busy four days following only two weeks after our biggest show of the year at Alexandra Palace. We completed two four day shows in three weeks, which was a lot of fun, but a lot of hard work and long days.

I have included some photo's off the preparations and some taken at the shows themselves. If you appear in any of these photo's and would prefer not to be shown, please let us know and we will remove them.

The creative craft show, NEC, Birmingham, 31st October - 3rd November

The NEC venue is large with great facilities for the exhibitor and visitor alike. The four day event covered many different crafts from stitching to food preparation.

The make and take workshop was a great success with over 30 participants over the four days, making both key rings and badges. We had mix of beginners and old hands but everyone was eager and departed happy.

Many thanks to all those that attended, both our enthusiastic followers and all our new customers.

Ally pally was amazing this year, the crowds were large and enthusiastic! The four day event was the biggest ever and was a lot of fun.

We were located on the Stitch Lane again, with many familiar faces on adjacent stands, but many new ones too.

Sales were brisk, with many returning customers showing keen interest in my new kits. There was a lot of interest in my crocheted animals and in the plan to produce crochet kits.

Thanks again to everyone who came along to say high, x

The Stoneleigh venue was in a single hall. Facilities and organization are good for the exhibitor and visitor alike with plenty of parking. The one day event was dedicated to crafting.

We ran a small make and take workshop and although business was slow in the afternoon, we did meet some really nice people. We launched some new products and these will be on the web site soon.

The BDC venue was a single hall on multiple levels. Facilities and organization are good for the exhibitor and visitor alike. The four day event was dedicated to stitching. Many event work shops were available to the public in designated classrooms on the second level, where we were located.

For us, business was brisk and at times we were nearly overwhelmed. It was great to see some familiar faces of returning customers, as well as introducing new people to our brand. Unfortunately, we ran out of some of our popular kits, but this didn't stop people from ordering the out of stock kits as postage was being offered for free.

We ran a make and take workshop on each day, which seem to go down well. We had lots of beginners and eager enthusiasts.

Thank you for all those that attended both our returning and all our new customers.

We had some great feedback at the shows on both our products and some great ideas for future content. If you have any ideas or comments that would help us improve our content and presentation we would be more than happy to hear them.
